Of Moral Policing and suchlike

Was quite happily snogging A on a relatively deserted Gurusaday Dutta Road last night at about ten o' clock, but was just a tad too caught up to realise that we were standing on a rather well-lit a portion of the pavement, and right in front of the the main gate to the military headquarters. And neither did we notice the policeman walking up to us.
We were repeatedly threatened with arrest, and much moralised at. But they eventually let us go after about ten minutes when they realised that a) we weren't particularly concerned if they called our parents; b) we weren't going to argue with them; c) we didn't have money to bribe them.
But yes, this is the closest that i have ever come to being arrested.
