in which i pay tribute to the year which is just about to leave me behind...

it has been a wonderful year. not necessarily a good year, but wonderful nonetheless. i have learnt much from it, and found much in it. and i have realised that i have much to look forward to.
and so, i bring the new year in with music, chocolate, cheese, and a glass of cherry brandy.
